Job summary

Northland Properties Corporation in Revelstoke is seeking an IT – Support Analyst 1 to provide desktop and network support in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

The role requires troubleshooting Windows OS, printers, and LAN/WAN connectivity, with weekend rotation and on-site work in Revelstoke. A degree or diploma in IT or related certifications are preferred, and applicants should demonstrate strong customer service and documentation skills.

Qualifications

IT – Support Analyst 1

Responsibilities

• Provide support for customer requests, analyze problems, and elevate issues when necessary
• Communicate technical information to nontechnical users
• Troubleshoot desktop and printer hardware and software issues; resolve issues to the end user's satisfaction
• Install, configure, and test all new workstations, peripheral equipment, and software
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN and connectivity issues

Experience Requirements

• Possess a minimum of one (1) year of experience in the resolution of issues related to desktop, applications, or network systems in a Windows environment OR
• A university degree or diploma in computer science recent graduate
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong written documentation and note-taking skills.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems.
• Experience supporting POS or E-Commerce systems.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts including:
• TCP/IP
• DNS
• DHCP
• VPN Connectivity
• Wireless Networking
