Job summary

Desjardins is seeking a committed on-site, full-time Member/Client Sales and Service advisor to help members and clients with banking transactions while promoting Desjardins products and services. You will listen, assist, and provide personalized solutions, ensuring a positive experience and financial empowerment.

You will support and build relationships, comply with security and risk controls, and stay current on offerings across Desjardins channels and services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of French required.
• Knowledge of Desjardins products and services.
• Ability to enter data in systems.
• Understanding of financial services cooperatives.
• Knowledge of security measures and internal controls.
• Familiarity with convenience products and automated/assisted transactions.

Responsibilities

• Support members and clients by informing them about tools and apps to perform transactions independently.
• Contribute to business development and maintain business relationships through service delivery.
• Assist members and clients who encounter fraud or irregularities and refer to the appropriate partners.
• Stay updated on the latest standards, products and services in the field.
• Adhere to compliance, security and risk management rules.
