Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centred care while maintaining a calm and professional approach.
• Respond to patient questions and concerns in accordance with policies.
• Ensure patient comfort throughout examinations while respecting concerns and cultures.
• Explain examination procedures clearly and ensure patients understand stages without diagnosing.
• Perform patient examinations per client protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure required views are obtained and images are recorded and documented.
• Collaborate with MRTs, Sonographers, Radiologists, and other healthcare providers to ensure safe, efficient service.
• Contribute to a positive patient experience and maintain professionalism.

They are currently seeking Medical Radiation Technologists (MRTs) to join their team across multiple locations. What You'll Be Doing:

• Provide compassionate, patient-centred care while maintaining a calm and professional approach.
• Respond to patient questions and concerns appropriately and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure patient comfort throughout examinations while respecting individual concerns and cultural differences.
• Explain examination procedures clearly and ensure patients understand each stage of their examination without providing a diagnosis.
• Perform patient examinations in accordance with the clients protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure required views are obtained and images are accurately recorded and documented to support assessment of normal and abnormal findings.
• Collaborate with MRTs, Sonographers, Radiologists, and other healthcare providers to ensure safe and efficient service delivery.
• Contribute to a positive patient experience and maintain a high standard of professionalism across all interactions.

What You'll Need to Be Successful:

• Active registration in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
• Current liability insurance.
• Current CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation, with the ability to work across all locations in the surrounding area.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• A courteous, professional, honest, respectful, and trustworthy approach.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to patient experience excellence.
• A proactive approach to problem solving.

Compensation: $39.00 to $41.00/hour.
