Job summary

St. Joseph's Health Care London seeks a Registered Medical Radiation Technologist to join our General X-Ray team in London, Ontario. You will perform a broad range of diagnostic radiographic procedures with emphasis on patient safety, image quality, and radiation protection.

The MRT collaborates with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and the care team to deliver high-quality patient care. Must be a graduate of a recognized MRT program and be CMRT-registered; two years' experience is preferred;

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized Medical Radiation Technology program.
• Current registration in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
• Demonstrated knowledge of diagnostic radiography principles, positioning, radiation protection and image quality.
• Knowledge of a Safety Culture in a Health Care Setting in compliance with OHSA.
• Capable of performing various technical procedures requiring independent judgment with skill, ingenuity and initiative.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal and external customers.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated personal and professional accountability and initiative to achieve high-quality examinations.

Salary Range: $36.84 - $50.24 /hour

We are seeking a registered Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) to join our General X-Ray team. The successful candidate will perform a broad range of diagnostic radiographic procedures while ensuring patient safety, image quality, radiation protection, and a positive patient experience.

The MRT will work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, nurses, Medical Imaging professionals, and the interdisciplinary care team to provide safe, high-quality patient care.

Essential Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized Medical Radiation Technology program
• Current registration in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
• Demonstrated knowledge of diagnostic radiography principles, positioning, radiation protection and image quality
