Job summary

HealthOne seeks a motivated Practice Lead, Medical to oversee daily clinic operations, staff schedules, onboarding, and patient experience. You will partner with clinical and administrative teams to ensure efficiency and service excellence across our multi-location GTA clinics.

The ideal candidate has strong medical administration experience, EMR proficiency, and a collaborative leadership style. Weekend availability is required in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a medical/healthcare office.
• Experience leading or supervising a medical administrative team.
• Strong knowledge of clinic operations and scheduling.
• Experience with EMR.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with staff training, onboarding, and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the medical clinic to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
• Coordinate staffing schedules and manage coverage requirements to support clinic operations.
• Monitor and maintain clinic inventory, including medical supplies and equipment.
• Support the onboarding, training, and development of new and existing staff members.
• Provide leadership and guidance to medical administrative and clinical support teams.
• Balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on MOA duties to support efficient patient flow, appointment management, front-desk operations, and daily clinic needs.
• Manage physician schedules and appointment bookings to optimize patient access and clinic capacity.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and patient-focused workplace culture.
• Address patient concerns and support the delivery of an exceptional patient experience.
• Maintain clinic data, reports, and tracking systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate and process patient billing and insurance claims in a timely manner.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the clinic.
