Job description

Our scope ranges from recommending how to use content more effectively to optimizing daily media channel performance and maximizing visibility in eCommerce platforms.

The Manager must demonstrate a strong working knowledge of the media space (Traditional and Digital media preferred) and available media research and systems. The Manager helps manage the day-to-day by assuring focus on key client objectives and communicating appropriate resource needs to meet ongoing client goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Understanding of all media channels and experience coordinating across multiple media disciplines (SEM, Social, TV, OLV, OOH, Radio, etc.)
  2. Experience with upper funnel media awareness campaigns
  3. Ability to coordinate with creative agencies on creative assets and account needs
  4. Ability to coordinate with multi-channel teams to design integrated media plans across various awareness-based channels (TV, OLV, Video, Social, Programmatic, Audio)
  5. Comfortable owning and communicating directly with clients on questions/concerns and specific media initiatives
  6. Helps evaluate timelines and manages day-to-day deliverables
  7. Experience analyzing competitive landscapes, pulling reports using agency tools, and compiling insights
  8. Managing a large media budget and flowchart
  9. Drive media channel selection and be forward-thinking on new opportunities
  10. Collaborates with internal teams to deliver strategic work for clients, steering strategies through to execution

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 4-5 years of total experience
  • Relevant media planning and buying experience with a digital focus
  • Familiarity with Media Ocean, DDS, Nielsen Ad Intel, Pathmatics, Media Tools, Web Analytics, Ad Servers, Media Research tools, etc.
  • 2+ years managing junior team members

Additional information:

The salary range for this position is $80k-$85k. Actual salary will be based on relevant experience, knowledge, and skills. Benefits include medical, dental, RRSP, paid time off, and others for all permanent employees.
