Job summary

Fountain Tire Delta is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. You will diagnose the cause of vehicle malfunctions, perform repairs with accuracy, and complete inspections including EV diagnostics to ensure safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Motivated Automotive Service Technician with strong knowledge of automotive industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to diagnose and repair vehicle systems efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction on a customer’s vehicle
• Performing appropriate repairs with accuracy and efficiency
• Completing motor vehicle inspections and diagnostics of electric vehicles
• Completing approved service on customer vehicles
• Testing and adjusting vehicle systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications
• Performing scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups
• Advising customers and associates on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements
• Maintaining mechanical service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Operating company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner
• Supporting customer relationships by responding to customer inquiries

You will be responsible for

What does it take to get on track?

• Must be a motivated Automotive Service Technician with at least 5 years of experience
• 4th year Apprentices considered
• Strong knowledge of automotive industry and skills required to provide mechanical service to our customers
• A diagnostic specialist that enjoys keeping up with modern technology
• The successful applicant will have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to providing a superior customer experience
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory driver’s abstract from province of residence on an annual basis
