Job summary

Fountain Tire Delta is looking for a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. You will diagnose vehicle issues, perform repairs, and conduct inspections on a range of cars and light trucks in a clean, safety-focused shop.

Qualifications

• Must be a motivated Automotive Service Technician with at least 5 years of experience.
• 4th year Apprentices considered.
• Strong knowledge of automotive industry and skills required to provide mechanical service to our customers.
• A diagnostic specialist that enjoys keeping up with modern technology.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to providing a superior customer experience.
• Ability to maintain a valid driver's license and provide a satisfactory driver's abstract annually.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction on a customer's vehicle.
• Performing appropriate repairs with accuracy and efficiency.
• Completing motor vehicle inspections and diagnostics of electric vehicles.
• Completing approved service on customer vehicles.
• Testing and adjusting vehicle systems to manufacturer's performance specifications.
• Performing scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups.
• Advising customers and associates on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements.
• Maintaining mechanical service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis.
• Operating company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner.
• Supporting customer relationships by responding to customer inquiries.
