Job summary

Fountain Tire Leduc is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team and service customer vehicles on site in Leduc, Canada. You will diagnose issues, perform timely repairs, and complete scheduled maintenance while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed/Red Seal status in Automotive Service Technician trade.
• Strong knowledge of automotive industry and skills to provide mechanical service.
• Diagnostic specialist who keeps up with modern technology.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to providing a superior customer experience.
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory driver’s abstract annually.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing causes of vehicle malfunctions.
• Performing repairs with accuracy and efficiency.
• Completing approved service on customer vehicles.

You will get to:

• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction on a customer’s vehicle
• Performing appropriate repairs with accuracy and efficiency
• Completing approved service on customer vehicles
• Testing and adjusting vehicle systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications
• Performing scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups.
• Advising customers and associates on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements
• Maintaining mechanical service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Operating company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner
• Supporting customer relationships by responding to customer inquiries

• Licensed/Red Seal status in the Automotive Service Technician trade
• Strong knowledge of automotive industry and skills required to provide mechanical service to our customers
