Fountain Tire Didsbury in Alberta is seeking a Licensed Automotive Service Technician to diagnose vehicle malfunctions, perform repairs to manufacturer specs and complete scheduled maintenance.

You’ll work in a safe shop with regular day shifts and potential overtime. We offer $38–$42 per hour, a $1,500 signing bonus, health/dental/vision benefits, a retirement plan with company matching, and strong opportunities for learning and advancement.

Qualifications

• Must hold Licensed/Red Seal status in the Automotive Service Technician trade.
• Strong knowledge of automotive industry and mechanical service.
• Diagnostic specialist with interest in modern technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and commitment to superior customer experience.
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory driver’s abstract annually.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing the cause of malfunctions on a customer’s vehicle.
• Performing repairs with accuracy and efficiency.
• Completing approved service on customer vehicles.
• Testing and adjusting vehicle systems to manufacturer specifications.
• Performing scheduled maintenance such as oil changes and tune ups.
• Advising customers on work performed and future repair needs.
• Maintaining mechanical service equipment on a scheduled basis.
• Operating company and customer vehicles in a safe manner.
• Supporting customer relationships by responding to inquiries.
