Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions partners with a manufacturing organization to identify a Sales Engineer who enjoys working directly with customers, solving complex technical challenges, and driving business growth.

As a Sales Engineer, you will serve as the technical liaison between customers and internal teams, support development and commercialization efforts, and travel across North America to expand customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.
• 5+ years of technical sales or customer-facing engineering experience.
• Manufacturing industry experience required.
• Background in specialty materials, metals, chemicals, powder metallurgy, or advanced manufacturing preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel approximately 35-45%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical liaison between customers and internal engineering, operations, quality, and commercial teams.
• Support application development, product qualifications, troubleshooting, and commercialization efforts.
• Review customer requirements, RFQs, specifications, and technical proposals.
• Identify new business opportunities and help expand existing customer relationships.
• Provide on-site customer support and travel throughout North America.
