We are currently searching for an ambitious Sales Application Engineer to join our Global manufacturing team. As part of the Technical Services team, you will ensure customer requirements are accurately translated into technically sound, commercially viable solutions that align with company capabilities and standards and serve as the technical bridge between customers, the sales team, and internal engineering teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and review technical documentation including submittals, product data, performance calculations, and application notes
• Work with the Sales team to support customer engagement throughout the sales lifecycle
• Support product launches, new application development, and technical training initiatives
• Provide technical consultation to customers to understand application requirements, constraints, and performance expectations
• Review customer specifications, drawings, and requirements to ensure technical feasibility and compliance
• Recommend appropriate products, configurations, and solutions based on customer needs and company offerings to support pricing and quotation development
• Provide feedback regarding market needs, application challenges, and product improvement opportunities
• Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and evolving customer requirements
• Maintain accurate records of technical inquiries, application decisions, and customer requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• University education in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field
• 5 years’ experience in applications engineering, technical sales or sales engineering
• Proven ability to support product launches and design for manufacturing (HVAC preferred)
• Familiarity with sales, manufacturing and engineering tools, systems, and methodologies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Proven organizational, time management skills and communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical language
• Previous experience with quality control and process improvement preferred
• Able to work proficiently in a team-oriented setting, as well as independently
• Knowledgeable re Health and Safety guidelines
