Jacobs & Thompson Inc is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead all facets of our manufacturing operations. The role emphasizes production planning, forecasting, scheduling, and overall facility management to ensure safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

You will guide supervisors and cross-functional teams, implement SOPs, and drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership with a track record in optimizing manufacturing performance

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering or operations field.
• 5–10 years in manufacturing/production with leadership exposure.
• Strong abilities in planning, forecasting, scheduling, and plant operations.
• Solid understanding of capacity planning, OEE, and KPIs.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct leadership to all production activities across the facility.
• Ensure operations meet productivity, safety, quality, and cost targets.
• Develop and enforce SOPs for production processes.
• Lead supervisors, leads, and frontline staff for work orders.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, logistics, engineering, and EHS teams.
• Develop and execute short-, mid-, and long-term production plans.
• Translate forecasts and orders into master schedules and MRP.
• Prioritize resources to meet targets and on-time delivery.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to handle bottlenecks or shortages.
• Maintain facility infrastructure and equipment to support operations.
• Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
• Manage workforce planning, scheduling, and labor utilization.
• Drive engagement, accountability, and performance management.
• Provide coaching and development for the workforce.
• Ensure compliance with labor policies and safety regulations.
• Champion quality and use Lean/Six Sigma tools for improvement.
• Lead root-cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Monitor costs and drive productivity and cost-saving initiatives.
• Analyze KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare and present performance reports and KPIs to leadership.
