Job description

We are seeking a results-driven Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations in our automotive facility. This role is critical to ensuring production targets are met safely, efficiently, and with the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of lean manufacturing principles, and experience in the automotive sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage production teams to meet daily, weekly, and monthly output targets.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Monitor production KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to resolve production issues.
  • Optimize resource utilization including labor, equipment, and materials.
  • Drive lean manufacturing, 5S, and Six Sigma initiatives.
  • Develop and mentor supervisors and team leads.
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports.
  • Participate in budgeting and cost control efforts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in a production management role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and safety regulations.
  • Proven leadership and team-building skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems and production planning tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification is an asset.

Working Conditions
