Job summary

Jacobs & Thompson is seeking a detail-oriented Production Coordinator to support daily manufacturing operations. You will help ensure production schedules are met, coordinate materials and labor, and maintain accurate inventory levels.

This role acts as a key liaison between production, inventory control, purchasing and logistics to ensure on-time delivery. Responsibilities include forecasting, planning, scheduling, and coordinating production activities to meet customer demand and delivery

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production coordination role.
• Experience with ERP/MRP and inventory management systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Dynamics 365 is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Forecast, plan, schedule, and coordinate production activities to meet demand and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate daily production schedules with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules for delays or changes.
• Collaborate with supervisors, team leaders, and engineers for optimal resource allocation.
• Maintain production records, job orders, and work instructions.
• Support MRP by ensuring raw materials are available per forecasts.
