Job summary

The CTD Group is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Production Planner to optimize shop-floor sequencing and MRP within Infor CloudSuite. You will layer AI, ML, and analytics atop operational data to drive demand forecasting and efficiency.

Ideal candidates will master MPS, MRP, and capacity planning, collaborating with Procurement, Warehouse, Engineering, and Data teams to deploy automated cloud workflows and reduce lead times.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing production planning, material control, or supply chain optimization.
• Experience configuring Infor CloudSuite and leading ERP workflows.
• Proficiency with SQL and data visualization tools.

Position Overview

We are seeking an technologically advanced Senior Manufacturing Production Planner to revolutionize our shop-floor sequencing, inventory optimization, and master scheduling workflows. In this role, you will move beyond legacy static planning by acting as the key functional owner of our Infor CloudSuite ERP environment, layering modern Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and data analytics tools on top of operational data.

The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise navigating and structuring data within Infor CloudSuite, alongside the technical literacy to deploy predictive demand forecasting models, automate material requirements planning (MRP), and dramatically reduce lead times through data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Infor CloudSuite Optimization:

• Serve as the core super-user for the Infor CloudSuite ERP ecosystem, managing master production schedules (MPS), material requisitions (MRP), and capacity planning modules.

AI & Advanced Analytics Integration:

• Leverage predictive analytics and AI-driven forecasting engines to anticipate material shortages, simulate production bottlenecks, and dynamic-sequence work orders.

Data Automation & Scripting:

• Build scripts or utilize advanced analytics interfaces (e.g., SQL, Python, Birst, or Power BI) to extract, transform, and map operational data out of Infor CloudSuite for automated custom reporting.

Capacity & Workflow Scheduling:

• Oversee complex routing, labor allocations, and machine utilization matrixes to optimize daily shop-floor manufacturing outputs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Partner closely with Procurement, Warehouse Logistics, Engineering, and Data Teams to ensure alignment between real-world constraints and algorithmic ERP parameters.
• Lead initiatives to migrate manual or spreadsheet-based tracking methods directly into standardized, automated cloud workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience:

• 5+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing production planning, material control, or supply chain optimization in a senior capacity.

ERP Expertise:

• Proven, hands‑on experience configuring, navigating, and executing production schedules specifically inside Infor CloudSuite.

AI & Digital Literacy:

• Technical competence utilizing or deploying AI/ML tools, predictive analytics platforms, generative design logistics solvers, or intelligent automated workflows.

Data Mastery:

• Proficient in data extraction, querying (SQL), and leveraging built-in BI extensions to visualize manufacturing KPIs and metrics.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Computer Science, or equivalent technical discipline.

Certifications (Assets):

• APICS CPIM/CSCP designations or specialized certifications in Lean Six Sigma, data science, or ERP administration.
