Job summary

STRIVE Recruitment Inc. in Woodstock, Ontario seeks an experienced Production Manager to lead multiple processing and packaging areas, coach Supervisors, and drive continuous improvement. The role centers on safety, quality, cGMP, and Lean initiatives while delivering production targets.

You will oversee dispensing, blending, encapsulation, inspection, and filling, manage KPIs (OEE, throughput), and collaborate across Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, HR, and Scheduling to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of management experience in a production environment.
• Hands-on production and operations leadership experience.
• Experience directly managing and developing Production Supervisors/Team Leaders.
• Strong knowledge of Lean methodologies and continuous improvement.
• Experience managing production KPIs, including OEE.
• Understanding of safety, quality, productivity, yield, and cost control.
• Strong communication skills at all levels.
• Team-focused, reliable, self-motivated leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day production operations across dispensing, blending, encapsulation, inspection, filling, and packaging areas.
• Directly manage, coach, and develop Production Supervisors and support the development of Team Leaders.
• Ensure production activities meet safety, quality, food safety, sanitation, output, and cGMP requirements.
• Monitor processes to meet product specifications and targets.
• Evaluate staffing, training, and overall operational efficiency.
• Maintain an audit-ready production environment for regulatory requirements and customer visits.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve productivity, quality, yield, and throughput.
• Develop, track, and manage production KPIs including OEE, schedule adherence, safety, quality, output, and rework.
• Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives across production.
• Partner with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, Scheduling, and HR to resolve issues.
• Lead performance-management discussions and regular one-on-one meetings with Supervisors.
