Job summary

Sleep Country Canada is seeking a sales-oriented individual for our Laval store. In this full-time role, you will engage with customers, promote our sleep products, and process orders at the point of sale.

You will maintain appealing displays, help customers with questions, and collaborate with the sales team to hit monthly targets. A 1–3 year background in retail or customer service is preferred, with openness to learning and growth.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in sales, retail, or customer service.
• Positive attitude with strong customer focus.
• Willing to learn and grow; ability to work flexible days/evenings/weekends.
• Familiar with Mac, Google Suite; Zendesk or Shopify a plus.

Responsibilities

In this current open role, you will:

• Engage with customers to identify their needs and wants, promote our quality products and service offerings
• Ensure our stores are always visually appealing through product presentation, replenishment and store housekeeping
• Work together as part of the Sales team to exceed goals and expectations
• Represent both the Sleep Country and Endy brand with best-in-class customer experience, helping customers with their inquiries
• Efficiently process sales orders via tablet or point of sale
• Capture email addresses, customer insights and product experiences to report back to the team

The Qualifications and Experience we like to see:

• Ideally have 1- 3 years of experience in Sales, Retail and/or Customer Service, this is considered an asset and not mandatory as we will invest in the right person
• A positive, optimistic attitude and a strong customer focus
• Be ambitious and willing to commit to continuous education and learning
• Critical thinking skills and the ability tackle problems on your own
• Knowledgeable in Mac and Google Suite systems
• Zendesk or other help desk system knowledge is an asset
• Familiarity with Shopify or online store management systems is an asset
• Available to work days, evenings and weekends
