Job summary

Killam Apartment REIT is seeking a maintenance technician in Ottawa to perform trim work, cabinetry maintenance, and general repairs across properties. Install doors, molding, and hardware, and handle painting and minor patching with a focus on quality and safety.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of similar experience, can work independently with minimal supervision, and holds a valid Ontario driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work as a team and with minimal supervision.
• Renovations experience is an asset.
• Plumbing and general trades experience.
• Ontario driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicle.
• General knowledge of electrical is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Fit and install trim items such as doors, molding, and hardware.
• Maintain and repair kitchen cabinetry.
• General maintenance, painting, and minor patching.
• Knowledge of plumbing, minor electrical, and carpentry.
• All other duties as required.

What you will do:

• Fit and install trim items, such as doors, molding and hardware;

Who you are:

• 2-4 years’ experience in a similar role;
