Job summary

Killam Apartment REIT is seeking a self-motivated Live-in Resident Manager for Crossing at Belmont in Victoria, BC. The role combines property operations with guest relations, focusing on maintaining a clean, safe, comfortable living environment for residents.

You will handle day-to-day maintenance, tenant requests, and coordination with trades, while enjoying competitive pay, an incentive program, health benefits, and opportunities for professional development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, and/or customer service.
• Strong communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day property operations including cleaning, minor repairs, and showing units.
• Provide first-line problem solving for tenant issues and build relationships.
• Coordinate and supervise onsite tradespeople.
• Respond to emergencies, on-call duties, and enforce property rules.
• Perform snow removal and salting at building entrances in winter.
• Share on-call responsibilities with the team.

At this time, we are looking for a self-motivated, hardworking Live-in Resident Manager to join us at Crossing at Belmont in Victoria, BC. Located in a pedestrian friendly village, Crossing at Belmont offers convenient access to shops, restaurants, a fitness studio, the Galloping Goose trail, and much more. Applicants should have previous experience doing general maintenance work.

What you will do

• The day-to-day management of the property including cleaning, minor repair/maintenance, diagnosing and resolving problems, and showing units when necessary;
• First-line problem solving to manage tenant issues and build relations;
• Arrange, coordinate and supervise onsite trades people;
• Respond to emergencies and on-call duty, enforce the rules and regulations of the property;
• Snow removal/salting (building entrances) during winter months;
• Shared on call responsibilities.

Who you are
