Job summary

Killam Apartment REIT, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Moncton. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity in a growth-oriented organization.

If you are a team player with proven ability to excel in a dynamic environment, this may be the role for you. You will perform maintenance, repairs and renovations on residences and must have practical trade skills.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years' experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work as a team, and also under minimal supervision.
• Renovations experience an asset.
• Plumbing, electrical, or HVAC experience an asset.

Responsibilities

• Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, molding and hardware.
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences.
• General maintenance and/or painting.
• Knowledge of plumbing, minor electrical, carpentry, etc.
• All other duties as required.

What you will do:

• Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, molding and hardware;
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences;
• General maintenance and/or painting;
• Knowledge of plumbing, minor electrical, carpentry, etc.;
• All other duties as required.

Who you are:

• 1-3 years' experience in a similar role;
• Ability to work as a team, and also under minimal supervision;
• Effective, proven skills and experience;
• Renovations experience an asset;
• Plumbing, electrical, or HVAC experience an asset;
• Must have a valid New Brunswick driver's license and a reliable vehicle for day-to-day operation.
