We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to ensure our buildings and grounds remain in excellent condition. What Will Make You a Great Fit

We are looking for an individual with a strong mechanical aptitude and a proactive approach to maintenance. If you have experience troubleshooting along with a passion for ensuring everything runs smoothly, you might be the perfect fit for our team!

To Excel In This Role, You Should Be

• Minimum of two to three years of previous experience considered an asset
• Completed Grade 12 education
• Clean Driver's abstract required
• Able to use basic power tools and complete basic building maintenance
• Basic command of the English language (written and verbal)
• Exceptional skills in communication, organization, interpersonal skills, and time management
• Plumbing knowledge would be considered an asset
• Proven experience in exercising good judgment under pressure
• Physically fit, able to stand, crouch, and kneel for long periods, and lift over 25 kilograms
• Carpentry/Construction skills considered an asset
• Strong customer care and communication skills

What will your role involve?

As a Maintenance Technician, Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

• Perform general maintenance tasks including: millwork (countertops), minor plumbing, door repair/installations, window installation, interior painting, drywall repairs, and similar duties.
• Knowledge of using various power tools, painting, drywall repairs is an asset
• Assist with building operations functions as required
• Perform rough and finished carpentry work in the repair and construction of building components
• Fit and install trim, doors, molding, and hardware
• Repair and refinish furniture
• Perform finished carpentry for cabinets and other items
• Operate a variety of standard power tools and equipment
• Respond immediately to emergencies
• Assist with landscaping responsibilities
• Respond promptly to service requests and emergencies addressing client and building issues
