Location:Calgary SE
Schedule:6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (with overtime, including evenings and weekends, as required)

What You’ll Do

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our state-of-the-art window manufacturing facility and offices. Your work will involve repairs, preventive maintenance, and inspections across production machines, tools, company vehicles, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Repairs:Perform timely, effective repairs on tools, equipment, machinery, and facility infrastructure.
• Preventive Maintenance:Regularly inspect and maintain production equipment, tools, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, office, and manufacturing spaces.
• Tool & Inventory Management:Sharpen tools, maintain an organized tool area, track spare parts inventory, and ensure machine documentation is up to date.
• Proactive Monitoring:Identify and address potential issues before they become costly problems.
• Vehicle Maintenance:Conduct routine upkeep on company vehicles.
• Coordination & Reporting:Provide regular updates to the Plant General Manager, track maintenance hours, report completed tasks, and communicate additional project needs to the VP of Manufacturing.
• Vendor Liaison:Coordinate external repair services as needed with approval.

What You Bring

We welcome candidates with strong maintenance experience or those pursuing apprenticeships in electrical or millwright trades.

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial setting
• 3+ more years of experience with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Proficiency with hand and electrical tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet throughout the day
• A team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
