Job summary

Walmart Canada is hiring for a maintenance/cleaning associate at Hawkesbury, ON. The role involves participating in a structured cleaning program and managing expenses to maintain a clean and safe shopping and working environment.

You will cooperate with colleagues, comply with food safety standards and cold chain guidelines, and clean all Fresh Departments, including coolers and freezers, while ensuring equipment is well-maintained and supplies are stocked.

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
