Job summary

Walmart Canada in Duncan, BC is seeking a Maintenance/Cleaning Associate to participate in a structured cleaning program, ensuring a clean and safe shopping and working environment. The role involves following food safety standards and cooperating with store teams to maintain the cleanliness of Fresh Departments, coolers, freezers, and display fixtures.

The position starts at a minimum hourly rate of $18.70 CAD, with potential for additional shifts.

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
