Job summary

Walmart Canada Corp in Toronto is seeking a maintenance cleaner to participate in a structured cleaning program and help maintain a clean and safe shopping and working environment on-site.

You will perform floor cleaning, assist in inspection of equipment, and ensure compliance with food safety and cold chain guidelines while supporting cleaning across Fresh Departments and non-sales areas. This role requires availability to start at minimum wage and offers steady part-time or full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Age - 18 or older.
• Minimum pay starts at $18.05 per hour.

• Communicates with the Stocking Coach and cooperates with associates on a comprehensive cleaning regimen.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments including coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assists in inspecting maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by completing required in-store certification programs and following Company policies.
• Cleans floors as needed by mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets in non-sales areas.

• 4.Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.


• 5.Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures


• 6.When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.05.
