Job summary

InterPro Pipe + Steel is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the Red Deer facility's maintenance team and ensure uptime of industrial equipment and processes. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will drive maintenance strategy, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives across production lines.

You will develop budgets, oversee spares, manage a skilled team, and partner with engineering to optimize reliability and efficiency while maintaining compliance with industry

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in engineering or related field.
• 5 years of progressive leadership roles.
• 5 years industrial maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance procedures, budget and the maintenance team while ensuring safe work conditions.
• Contribute to best practice maintenance vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to improve operational performance.
• Contribute to new business initiatives and projects, and review and communicate the impact on maintenance activities.
• Develop clear accountability for maintenance material spend and manage expenditure.
• Identify business improvement opportunities and deploy required resources to deliver projects.
• Develop and manage KPIs, report on targets and identify actions required.
• Manage, coach and develop a high-performing maintenance team with adequate staffing and performance reviews.
• Prepare annual maintenance budget and forecasts, and contribute to capital expenditure proposals with compliance.
