Job summary

Global CPG Manufacturing Company in Calgary, AB is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the day shift maintenance team and ensure the reliability, safety, and performance of the plant’s equipment and infrastructure.

This hands-on maintenance leader role requires experience leading skilled trades in a unionized setting and coordinating preventive/predictive maintenance programs to support production and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 1-1-2 years of maintenance leadership within manufacturing.
• Experience leading skilled trades teams.
• Unionized manufacturing experience is a strong asset.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Experience in high-volume, highly automated manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of maintenance tradespeople on the day shift.
• Manage daily maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability, uptime, and production efficiency.
• Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs and ensure schedules are executed effectively.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, automation, and production equipment issues.
• Partner with Production, Engineering, Safety, Quality, and cross-functional teams.
• Prioritize maintenance activities based on production requirements and safety.
