Job summary

Interfor is offering a Maintenance Intern position in Grand Forks, British Columbia. This on-site internship starts May 2027 for a 4–8 month term, giving you hands-on experience alongside experienced professionals in a wood products manufacturing environment.

You will learn how industrial maintenance supports safe, reliable, and efficient operations while building technical and problem-solving skills in modern sawmill settings.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in an industry-related program (forestry, supply chain, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering).
• Committed to safe work practices and teamwork.
• Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with multiple departments.

• Salariesstarting from $3,700 per month (based on your year inschool and previous experience).
