Job summary

Interfor is seeking a Maintenance Intern at Adams Lake, British Columbia, to apply classroom learning in a hands-on, on-site sawmill environment. You’ll work with experienced maintenance and operations professionals to gain practical skills and an understanding of equipment reliability and safe operations.

The internship starts May 2027 for 4–8 months. Interfor offers competitive compensation starting at CAD 3,700 per month plus a temporary living allowance to support relocation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree or diploma in forestry, supply chain, mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering.
• Committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Able to communicate clearly and collaborate with your team and other departments.
• Interested in hands-on work in an industrial setting.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
