Job summary

Jays Transportation Group Ltd. REGINA is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to coordinate long distance dispatch operations, schedule shipments, and liaise with drivers, branch offices, and van line partners. This role emphasizes timely issue resolution and clear communication to ensure service levels.

Ideal candidates will have strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a customer-focused mindset to support internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in dispatching, logistics, transportation or moving services is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate long distance dispatch operations and shipment scheduling for all Jays Moving Branch offices.
• Communicate with drivers, branch offices, customers, and van line partners.
• Resolve operational and logistical issues in a timely manner.
• Review estimates and assist with operational planning.
• Collaborate with Sales teams to ensure service requirements are met.
• Monitor driver availability, equipment utilization, and line-haul capacity.
• Maintain dispatch records, reports, and documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
• Perform general administrative duties including answering phones and paperwork.

As an agent for Atlas Van Lines, our Moving Division offers local and long-distance moving services. Responsibilities

• Coordinate long distance dispatch operations and shipment scheduling for all Jays Moving Branch offices.
• Communicate with drivers, branch offices, customers, and van line partners.

• Review estimates and assist with operational planning.

• Maintain accurate dispatch records, reports, and documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
• Perform general administrative duties, including answering phones, preparing paperwork, and assisting customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in dispatching, logistics, transportation, or moving services is an asset but not required
• Must have high quality interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Valid Class 5 drivers license and acceptable drivers abstract
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service
• Excellent computer skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
