Job summary

Air Liquide Home Healthcare Canada is seeking a Logistics Scheduler to support clinical consultants and client service technicians in Mississauga, ON. This role focuses on optimizing interventions, maintaining scheduling databases, and ensuring timely EMR updates.

The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years in a dispatcher/scheduler role, be proficient with Gmail/Google Apps, and possess EMR/optimization tool experience, with bilingual abilities considered an asset.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in a dispatcher/scheduler role.
• EMR, distribution, logistics or optimization tools are assets.
• Bilingual ability is an asset.
• Excellent computer literacy with Gmail and Google Applications.

Responsibilities

• Optimize clinical consultants and client service technicians interventions using scheduling technology.
• Monitor and achieve KPI targets for efficiency.
• Update and manage scheduling databases with accuracy.
• Schedule and optimize the sequence of interventions across geographical zones/routes.
• Communicate actively with clients, clinical consultants and client service technicians.
• Ensure interventions are completed and updated in the EMR system in a timely manner.
• Resolve complex scheduling tasks in EMR and prep for next day dispatching orders.
• Escalate technical/clinical challenges to Manager.
• Identify improvement opportunities to the Manager.
• Receive emergency and non-emergency calls and record information into the EMR.
• Monitor route and status of service territory to coordinate and prioritize schedule.
• Enter data into the EMR system and maintain logs and records.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Scheduler is responsible for executing a variety of administrative scheduling duties to support the clinical consultants and client service technicians by optimizing their interventions in accordance with key performance indicators. The Scheduler will liaise with a variety of stakeholders and work with software applications to plan, coordinate and schedule interventions by clinical consultants, and client service technicians. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, as you will navigate multiple tasks and stakeholder needs effectively in a fast paced environment.

• Update and manage scheduling databases with accuracy
• Schedule and optimize the sequence of interventions to ensure efficiency and effectiveness are maintained, along with troubleshooting within geographical zones/routes.
• Communicate actively with clients, clinical consultants and client service technicians regarding intervention details
• Ensure interventions are completed and updated in the EMR system in a timely manner
• Solve complex scheduling tasks in EMR, fill gaps for the next day dispatching orders and review interventions to minimize issues.
• Escalate technical/clinical challenges to Manager
• Identifies improvement opportunities to the Manager.
• Receive emergency and non-emergency calls and record significant information and action them into the EMR system.
• Monitor the route and status of service territory to coordinate and prioritize their schedule.
• Enter data into the EMR system and maintain logs and records of calls, activities and other information.

Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualification and other job-related reasons. This job grade falls within a salary band starting at the minimum of $45,000 with opportunity for advancement.
