Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in a Logistics Coordinator, Shipping Coordinator, Dispatch Coordinator, or similar role.
• Hands‑on experience with delivery scheduling, transportation coordination, and route planning.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Experience in the construction, lumber, building materials, or manufacturing industry is an asset.
• Ability to provide a current criminal record check.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shipping activities and delivery schedules to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes based on customer locations and delivery requirements.
• Coordinate with drivers, customers, sales, production, and shipping teams to maintain smooth operations.
• Monitor material movement within the yard and ensure products are ready for shipment.
• Communicate delivery updates, manage schedule changes, and resolve shipping or transportation issues.
• Provide daily direction and support to delivery personnel.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure a high level of service.
• Support logistics, shipping, and inventory improvement initiatives.
