Job summary

Thordon Bearings Inc. in Burlington, Ontario is seeking a Production Expediter to join our privately owned, long‑standing family business.

You will work with the Production Planner to develop daily and weekly production plans and ensure material and resource availability to meet customer demand. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in production, with a Materials Management Diploma and CPIM as assets, and strong MS Office and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in a Production department.
• Materials Management Diploma and/or CPIM certificate is an asset.
• Experience with MRP systems is essential.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop daily/weekly production plans with the Production Planner.
• Review production plans for material and resource availability.
• Confirm product availability with sales and customer service to meet demand.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure delivery/availability of raw material.
• Participate as a key team member to improve on-time delivery.
• Monitor finished goods and Kanban levels.
• Process urgent work orders and resolve bottlenecks.
• Communicate status of work orders and customer requirements.
• Own production plans and drive priorities to deliver on time.
