Qualifications

• CIFFA certification or equivalent industry training (preferred).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and vendors globally.
• Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and other relevant software.
• Basic mathematical skills for handling invoices and rate calculations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate freight shipments across North America and internationally using multiple transport modes.
• Provide rate quotations, negotiate with carriers, and book transportation for clients.
• Generate and manage shipment documentation such as work orders, invoices, and bills of lading.
• Track and trace shipments to ensure timely delivery, updating clients on status.
• Resolve issues such as missing documentation or lost freight, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Interact with clients and vendors via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings.
• Audit and approve vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policy.
• Support colleagues with operational tasks and provide guidance as needed.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through courses, seminars, and webinars.
