Job summary

Cole International is seeking a Global Pricing Analyst to drive pricing for clients across freight modes, delivering accurate spot rates and general quotes. You will negotiate rates with vendors and keep CargoWise and the CRM up to date with client and rate information.

You will respond promptly to rate requests, collaborate with Business Development and Customer Service to identify opportunities, and stay ahead of market trends to shape pricing strategies aligned with company goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the freight or logistics industry
• Post-secondary education in Business or Marketing (asset)
• Completion of CIFFA certification or equivalent industry training (preferred)
• Familiarity with Dangerous Goods regulations (asset)
• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Manage pricing for clients and prospects, offering spot rates and general quotes
• Negotiate rates and tariffs with vendors to ensure competitive pricing
• Update CargoWise and the CRM with client and rate information
• Respond promptly to customer rate requests in line with company guidelines

• Stay up-to-date with market trends to influence pricing strategies

What You'll Do

• Support financial decision-making by analyzing performance data and contributing to pricing strategies at both macro and micro levels

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years of experience in the freight or logistics industry
• Post-secondary education in Business or Marketing (an asset)
• Completion of CIFFA certification or equivalent industry training (preferred)
• Familiarity with Dangerous Goods regulations (an asset)
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with vendors
• Knowledge of basic economic, budgeting, and accounting principles
• Hands-on, analytical, and collaborative approach to business development and project management
