You will collaborate with carriers, drivers, and internal teams, manage documentation, monitor compliance, and seek cost-saving improvements while maintaining accuracy and strong communication.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or relevant experience.
  • Experience in logistics coordination, preferably trucking or 3PL.
  • Familiarity with TMS and logistics software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong typing (65 wpm).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor trucking operations, including scheduling, routing, and tracking shipments.
  • Collaborate with carriers and drivers to arrange pickup and delivery schedules.
  • Provide customers with shipment status updates and resolve inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Maintain transportation documentation (bills of lading, shipping manifests, etc.).
  • Work with sales, customer service, and warehouse for seamless coordination.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Act as main contact for drivers and carriers, addressing concerns promptly.
  • Address delays proactively and implement contingency plans.
  • Monitor performance metrics with the logistics team.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly motivated and organized Logistics Coordinator to join our team and contribute to our success.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and monitor all aspects of trucking operations, including scheduling, routing, and tracking shipments to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
  • Collaborate with carriers and drivers to arrange pick-up and delivery schedules while optimizing route efficiency.
  • Communicate with customers to provide shipment status updates, address inquiries, and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Manage and maintain transportation documentation, such as bills of lading, shipping manifests, and other relevant records.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including sales, customer service, and warehouse, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of logistics operations.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in transportation operations.
  • Act as the main point of contact for drivers and carriers, addressing any operational concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Proactively address potential delays or disruptions in delivery schedules and implement contingency plans when necessary.
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to monitor performance metrics and identify areas for improvement in efficiency and service quality.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is preferred, but relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Proven experience in logistics coordination, preferably within the trucking or 3PL industry.
  • Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and other logistics software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with carriers, drivers, and customers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with a focus on accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Great typing skills – 65wpm
