Job summary

Cole International is seeking a Global Pricing Analyst in Vancouver to deliver accurate, competitive pricing across transport modes. You will negotiate with carriers, update internal systems, and respond to rate requests while collaborating with BD and Customer Service to identify new opportunities and expand current client relationships.

The role emphasizes market trend awareness and data-driven pricing strategies to support company goals and profitability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in freight or logistics industry.
• CIFFA certification or equivalent industry training preferred.
• Post-secondary education in Business or Marketing.

Responsibilities

• Manage pricing for clients and prospects, offering spot rates and general quotes.
• Negotiate rates and tariffs with vendors to ensure competitive pricing.
• Update CargoWise and the CRM with client and rate information.
• Respond promptly to customer rate requests in line with company guidelines.
• Collaborate with Business Development and Customer Service to expand client relationships.
• Stay up-to-date with market trends to influence pricing strategies.
• Analyze performance data to support pricing decisions at macro and micro levels.

What You'll Do

• Manage pricing for clients and prospects, offering spot rates and general quotes

• Support financial decision-making by analyzing performance data and contributing to pricing strategies at both macro and micro levels

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years of experience in the freight or logistics industry
• Post-secondary education in Business or Marketing (an asset)
• Completion of CIFFA certification or equivalent industry training (preferred)
• Familiarity with Dangerous Goods regulations (an asset)Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with vendors
• Knowledge of basic economic, budgeting, and accounting principles
• Hands-on, analytical, and collaborative approach to business development and project management
