Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. is seeking a Loading Dock Master to manage the receipt, shipping and distribution of all goods across the complex, including Canada Post, courier mail, furniture and food deliveries, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

You will verify documentation and waybills, coordinate pickups, monitor access logs and security, and enter receiving data in SAP and Neopost systems. Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication with internal and external contacts is

Qualifications

• Shipper/Receiver experience required.
• High school diploma required.
• Forklift training is an asset.
• Organized with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel, SAP and Word.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with internal/external personnel.

Responsibilities

• Receive, ship and distribute all goods and services entering the complex.
• Ensure documentation, waybills, delivery slips and goods are correct.
• Coordinate pickup of materials and disposal of pallets.
• Access, enter and operate programs to record receiving information.
• Identify and print purchase orders for incoming goods and record in SAP.
• Input data to Neopost Programming.
• Monitor Mail Distribution Mailbox for pickups/deliveries.
• Track all incoming vendors and contractors via the loading dock.
• Fill out access logs and issue temporary contractor badges.
• Work with building security to monitor activity at entry points.
• Handle direct inquiries from internal clients via face to face, phone, and e-mail.
• Monitor schedules of internal deliveries/pickups.
• Provide support to Dock Hand as needed.

Job description

The loading dock handles all incoming and outgoing shipments for all business areas and lines of business within the company. Within this environment, the Loading Dock Master is responsible for the shipping, receipt and distribution of all goods entering the complex. This includes Canada Post mail, courier mail and packages, furniture deliveries, food deliveries, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the receipt, shipping and distribution of all goods and services that enter the complex
• Ensure that the documentation, waybill, delivery slips and the goods are correct and correspond in every respect
• Responsible for coordinating the pickup of all materials within the complex and deliver and coordinate disposal of used pallets throughout complex
• Access, enter and operate programs to record receiving information for reporting and tracking
• Identify and print purchase orders for incoming purchased goods and record in SAP system. Also involves data input to Neopost Programming
• Monitor Mail Distribution Mailbox for pickups/deliveries, including tracking and reporting
• Monitor all incoming vendors and contractors accessing Canada Life via the loading dock
• Fill out access logs and issue temporary contractor badges
• Work with building security to monitor all activity including maintenance of entry points
• Handle all direct inquiries from internal clients via face to face, phone, and e-mail in a timely and professional manner
• Monitor schedules of internal deliveries/pickups
• Provide support to Dock Hand as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Shipper/ Receiver type of experience
• Highschool Diploma
• Forklift training is an asset
• Organized/Attention to Detail
• Working level experience in Excel, SAP and Word
• Ability to deal with internal and external personnel with both written and verbal communication
