Canada Cartage Group in Oshawa, ON seeks a detail-oriented Logistics Project Coordinator to manage daily shipments and documentation, liaise with customers, and support project delivery across Canada. Qualifications

  • Post-Secondary diploma in a business program or related field.
  • 2-4 years of prior experience in a logistics/operations role.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily inbound and outbound shipments with the customer.
  • Complete and update all applicable paperwork.
  • Troubleshoot missing information and research where applicable.
  • Interact with customer employees on site.
  • Use critical thinking to overcome challenges in day-to-day operations.
  • Report and understand challenges in detail when required.
  • Interact daily with customers by phone and email.
  • Be available for weekend project work or possible out-of-town assignments when required.
  • Support all project coordination aspects to ensure timely execution, on budget, and high-quality standards.
  • Manage administrative side of project delivery, including meetings and updates.
  • Maintain and document planning tools and templates.
  • Use WMS daily to complete and update transactions.
  • Ensure activities are captured in WMS and throughput is accurate.
  • Participate in WMS upgrades and system changes.
  • Learn process flow from floor to system to billing.
  • Interact with other departments as needed for the facility's accounts.
  • Perform other duties as required

What you will do



  • Coordinate daily inbound and outbound shipments with the customer

  • Complete and update all applicable paperwork

  • Interact daily with customers by phone and email

  • Be available for weekend project work or possible out-of-town assignments when required

  • Support all project coordination aspects of customer engagements to ensure timely execution, on budget, and in keeping with the organization's high-quality standards

  • Manage the administrative side of project delivery, including the establishment of meetings, customer update conference calls, internal review sessions, and other key project milestones

  • Maintain and document the various planning tools and templates to support the project team

  • Use WMS systems daily to complete and update applicable transactions.

  • Use WMS to ensure all activities are captured, and throughput is accurate.

  • Participate in WMS upgrade programs & System changes/process etc.

  • Learn and understand process flow from the floor to system to billing.

  • Interact with other departments as needed for the facility's accounts.

  • Perform other duties as required
