Job summary

Manitoulin Transport in Canada is seeking a dock worker to unload inbound freight, load outbound trailers, and distribute freight to drivers. You will mark shipments, document variances, reweigh freight, and support the dock foreman while meeting deadlines.

Candidates should have TDG experience, be a team player, handle pressure, and be able to operate dock equipment safely. Familiarity with AS-400 and MTrac is a plus; training is available.

• Unload freight from inbound trailers

Unloading freight from Inbound Trailers

Loading Outbound trailers

Distributing freight to P and D drivers

Marking shipments with Identifying Information

Documenting Overages, shortages, and damages

Reweighing Inbound and Outbound freight

Provide support todockforeman

Ability to meet deadlines

Attention to detail, and good knowledge of Canadian Geography is an asset.

DockExperience is also an asset

The ideal candidate will be able to successfully and safely operate all dock equipmentpertinent to the position

Checking manifests and inspecting inbound/outbound shipments.

Assist with the clean up in and around the terminal
