Tomlinson Group of Companies in Goderich, ON is seeking a Loader Operator for the Goderich Dock on a seasonal basis from April to November. The role involves loading aggregates, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safe operations.

Join a crew at the dock with opportunities for training and benefits; four shifts per week, 5am–3pm, with occasional weekends and after-hours work.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work quickly, efficiently and in a safe manner.
• Basic computer skills would be an asset.
• Ability to work four days per week 5am to 3pm.
• May require some weekend and after hour work.

Responsibilities

• Loading aggregates to customer trucks.
• Maintain equipment and report any defects in a timely manner.
• Operate various equipment as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures while working.
• Be willing and capable of performing manual labour when required.
• Assist with receiving of inbound and outbound vessels to ensure materials are discharged and/or loaded as per direction from supervisor.
• Perform all tasks that are assigned by the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite and dock area, including proper housekeeping, removal of debris, and keeping work areas clear of hazards.

Tomlinson is currently seeking an individual to fill a Loader Operator position at our Goderich Dock. This is a seasonal role from April to November.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Loading aggregates to customer trucks
• Maintain equipment and report any defects in a timely manner
• Operate various equipment as needed
• Follow all safety policies and procedures while working
• Be willing and capable of performing manual labour when required

COMPENSATION INFORMATION

The expected range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00 per hour. Placement within the range is dependent on a variety of factors including qualifications and experience
