Job summary

Autism Ontario is seeking an Educational Projects & Systems Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of educational initiatives, from planning to delivery. The role includes managing the LMS, creating engaging online courses, and ensuring accessibility standards across content.

You’ll lead content teams, partner with SMEs, and drive staff development while supporting organizational learning objectives in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Adult Education, Learning and Development, or related field.
• 3–5 years LMS administration, e-learning development, and tech support.
• LMS admin tasks: course management, user admin, configuration, reporting, troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of accessibility standards incl. AODA and WCAG.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; explain technical issues to non-technical audiences.
• MS Office, SharePoint, and web content management proficiency.
• Experience building online courses and digital learning resources using adult-learning principles.
• Adaptability to changing priorities and lead learning initiatives.
• Commitment to social justice, neurodiversity, equity, inclusion, anti-racism, anti-ableism.
• Fluency in written and spoken French is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development of educational materials, videos, and courses for internal/external audiences.
• Manage content development staff for e-learning, video, digital, and PDF formats.
• Collaborate with SMEs and internal teams across analysis to implementation phases.
• Create courses using instructional design principles that meet learning objectives.
• Design engaging online courses and training materials.
• Lead organizational changes and align with the vision and strategy.
