Job summary

Autism Ontario is seeking a Digital Design Specialist to lead visual, digital, and interactive design for educational resources in English and French. The role focuses on creating engaging content and improving access to learning across multiple media, collaborating with staff, professionals, and community partners.

It is a new, one-year contract with a hybrid work model and occasional travel to Toronto offices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or post-secondary education in communications or graphic design.
2–5 years of digital and graphic design experience.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva.
Strong written, verbal and visual communication with UX sensibilities.
French language skills are an asset.
Experience with accessibility and inclusive design.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and layout of Autism Ontario's educational content for English and French resources.
Analyze content feedback and learner engagement data.
Ensure content aligns with branding, accessibility, and UX best practices.
Collaborate with Instructional Designers, Digital Media Producers, and subject specialists to design resources and multimedia assets.
Create digital content, interactive learning materials, infographics, and tools.
Provide media best-practices support and help expand reach and engagement.
Other duties as assigned.
