Job summary

Boardwalk is seeking a Resident Manager to oversee on-site operations at Aspire (View Royal) or The Vue (Langford). You will live on site, manage rent collection, inspect vacant units, show suites, and coordinate contractor work to maintain high standards of tenant satisfaction.

The role requires 2 years of customer service experience, the ability to work evenings/weekends, and a valid driver’s license with own vehicle.

Qualifications

• 2 years customer service experience required.
• Post-Secondary education in related field is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Collect rent and follow up on defaults.
• Lease and show suites.
• Inspections of vacant and upcoming suites.
• Annual suite inspections.
• Prepare and deliver bank deposits.
• Ensure contractors arrive as per scheduled timelines and complete their work per conditions of the contract.
• Assist with snow removal, cleaning, and touch-up painting as required.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.

Main Requirements

• Must live on site (60% rental discount)
• Valid Class 5 driver's license and own vehicle required

Responsibilities

• Applicant must love people, be versatile, hands-on with cleaning and maintenance tasks and take ownership of the site
• Successful applicants must have a flexible schedule and be available to work evenings and weekends

Experience And Educational Requirements

Technical Requirements

• Computer experience is required with web based programs preferred
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to changing systems and new technology
• Familiarity with technology is an asset

• Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Ability to take responsibility for all actions and decisions and to follow through until a resolution is obtained
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• Demonstrates a positive attitude, enthusiasm and assertiveness
• Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, lifting
• Ability to maneuver or lift up to 10kg with the proper equipment
