Boardwalk, a major Canadian property manager, is hiring a Maintenance professional to uphold quality living environments across Ontario communities. You will handle routine maintenance, respond to requests within 72 hours, and coordinate with the care team to ensure turnover suites meet standards.

• Preventative Maintenance inspections and reporting
• Ensure contractors complete their work per established quality standards
• Assist with snow removal
• Complete other tasks and assist other sites as required

Responsibilities:

• Address Maintenance Requests within 72 hours
• Perform on-call emergency maintenance

Experience and Educational Requirements:

• 2 years maintenance service experience required
• 3 years renovation experience an asset

Technical Requirements:

• Working knowledge of English language both verbal and written
• Familiarity with technology is an asset

Non-Technical Requirements:

• Ensure to have all tools on the tool list (list provided during interview)
• Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, lifting
• Ability to maneuver up to 90kg with the proper equipment
• Ability to fix the problem correctly the first time
• Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Ability to work independently and with others in a team environment
• Demonstrates a positive attitude, enthusiasm and assertiveness

Additional Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• Own reliable vehicle
