Job summary

Boardwalk in Brampton, Ontario is hiring a janitorial associate to maintain and beautify common areas in our rental communities. You will clean entrances, elevators, offices, halls, and amenity spaces on a Wed-Sun schedule, supporting a clean and welcoming resident environment.

The role requires at least two years of cleaning experience, solid English communication, and the ability to lift and walk for long periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of cleaning experience.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Ability to operate and learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Work scheduled shifts from Wed-Sunday.
• Clean building entrances, elevators, offices, halls, stairwells, laundry rooms, garbage rooms, amenity rooms, and other common areas.
• Clean vacant suites and complete suite touch-ups.
• Interior and exterior garbage pickup.
• Assist with snow removal and touch-up painting as required.
• Ensure proper and accurate inventory management.
• Ensure all equipment is working and maintained.
• Complete other tasks and assist other sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Work scheduled shifts from Wed-Sunday

Experience And Educational Requirements

• 2 years cleaning experience required

Technical Requirements

• Working knowledge of English both verbal and written
• Familiarity with technology is an asset

Non-Technical Requirements

• Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, lifting
• Ability to maneuver up to 90kg with the proper equipment
• Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Excellent time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and with others in a team environment
• Demonstrates a positive attitude and enthusiasm

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Own reliable vehicle
• Able to work permanent weekends (Wed-Sun schedule)
