Job summary

Colonial Group in Cornwall, Ontario, is seeking an Assistant Resident Manager to live on-site and manage daily property operations. The role requires you to reside at the property, work four weekdays per week, every second weekend, and be on-call some evenings.

Base compensation is $43,000 plus a signing bonus, with an apartment suite provided as a taxable benefit. Employer-paid benefits, quarterly and annual bonuses, training, gym discount, and career development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Good written and verbal communication abilities.
• Basic computer and keyboarding skills required.
• Ability to perform cleaning duties and basic maintenance.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and move heavy items.
• Bilingual English/French applies only in Quebec.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and provide friendly, professional service.
• Respond to concerns within 24 hours and ensure satisfaction.
• Handle lease renewals, notices, and daily admin tasks.
• Plan and execute resident events (holidays, summer barbecues).
• Maintain cleanliness of all common areas and perform move‑outs.
• Assist with maintenance requests and coordinate repairs.
