Job summary

Encore seeks a Sr. Technical Specialist to lead the technical setup and operation of high-end audiovisual events in hospitality environments, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction across all event phases.

You will mentor junior staff, stay current with AV technology trends, and collaborate with hotel teams to deliver outstanding experiences while upholding safety standards. The role requires a valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of specialized Live Audio experience.
• 5+ years of event technology with specialty in Audio/Lighting/Projection/Video.
• 4-5 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• New Encore team members must validate/complete all Training requirements within 60 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: setup, operation, and breakdown of advanced AV equipment; troubleshoot issues; ensure security and safety.
• Customer Service: provide excellent service; maintain client relationships; collaborate on event solutions.
• Training/Staff Development: mentor and coach staff; develop technical skills; stay current with industry trends.
• Event Supervision: perform pre/during/post event work; supervise other technicians during events.
• Equipment Maintenance: assist with security, storage, inventory, and forecasting of equipment needs.
