Frontier School Division invites applications for a Literacy and Numeracy Support Teacher at West Lynn Heights School in Lynn Lake, Manitoba. Qualifications
- Bachelor of Education and Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility).
- Knowledge of structured literacy and numeracy programming.
- Experience with instructional scope/sequence and systematic teaching.
- Experience creating/implementing individualized programs for At Risk students and students with special needs.
- Knowledge of Indigenous Ways of Life is an asset.
- Strong background in formative assessment and data-driven instruction.
Responsibilities
- Deliver structured literacy and numeracy support within a cohesive instruction plan.
- Develop and implement individualized programming for At Risk students and those with special needs.
- Collaborate with teachers and specialists to monitor student progress and adjust plans.
